In a world where gods walk among humans and rule over them, an akula (lesserborn) boy journeys to the netherworlds (Patalaloka) to find a cure for his mother, a cure that carries a heavy price—his soul.
A Glimpse into Arya's future, as his sister sets foot in the fallen city of Amaravata in search of her brother.
Arya's journey begins in a gurukula, where he's serving as a dasa to Guru Vyanputra.
Arya, with the help of Vrishiketu, rescues his captured mother from the village panchayat.
Chapter 3
Arya finds out that his mother bears a curse, and decides to set out on a quest to find a cure.
